Annette Gozon-Abrogar will face Sarah Lahbati's allegations head-on once she's under oath.
This was her reaction after major statements in the young actress' seven-page sworn affidavit came out in PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) yesterday, July 16. (READ STORY on Sarah Lahbati)
In this court document, the StarStruck Batch 5 winner detailed her transactions with the GMA Films president, and with former GMA-7 executive Arsi Baltazar, former handler Michael Uycoco, and Bebong Muñoz and Shiela Buendia of ICONS.
Sarah filed grave coercion complaints against Annette and the five people mentioned above.
For Annette's part, she was surprised that PEP was given a copy of the documents.
"... I had hoped that the issues between Sarah and myself would be left with the courts (which is the proper venue to determine the truth)..."
Nevertheless, she's ready to "correct the lies and misleading statements" of Sarah.
This site asked for her reaction the same day the two-part articles were published, and her written response came this morning, July 17:
"Much as I had hoped that the issues between Sarah and myself would be left with the courts (which is the proper venue to determine the truth), I was surprised that someone already gave PEP a copy of the complaints to be published.
"As a matter of fact, my lawyers and I haven't even received the copies of the complaints yet.
"It behooves me now to correct the lies and misleading statements she made.
"I will answer and correct her statements in detail but I want to do it under oath when I file my answer. I will send you a copy when I have filed it already."
