Senate bares assets of newly-elected senators; Cynthia Villar tops list, Grace Poe-Llamanzares places second

Senator Antonio Trillanes landed in 12th place with total assets pegged at P4.2M.

Newly-elected senators Cynthia Villar, Grace Poe-Llamanzares (in photo) and Sonny Angara are the top three richest senators, based on their Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth.

Inilabas na ng Senado ang talaaan ng Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) ng mga nanalong senador nitong nakaraang 2013 elections.

Ayon sa ulat ng Balitanghali ng GMA News TV ngayong araw, August 17, si Senator Cynthia Villar ang lumabas na pinakamayaman sa labindalawang neophyte lawmakers dahil sa kanyang total assets na nakatala sa P1.2 B.

Nasa ikalawang puwesto naman ang anak ng King of Philippine Movies at dating Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairman na si Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares na may kabuuang yaman na umabot sa P147.8 million.

Nasa ika-labindalawang puwesto naman si Senator Antonio Trillanes sa kanyang total na P4.2M.
