Anne Curtis on dealing with bashers: "You just learn the art of deadma."

Anne Curtis on younger sister Jasmine’s foray into the indie scene: "I’m so proud of her kasi that’s an industry I’ll never be able to get into because I’m so mainstream."

DEALING WITH BASHERS.

Seven talaga?

“Because, you know, it makes me happy just knowing na natutuwa sila… na natutuwa sila sa boses ko.

I mean, some people make a living out of it. But you learn the art of deadma, di ba?

“And you just learn the art of deadma.

Sabi ni Anne, “For me, anything that has to do with my family.

"I don’t mind me, I don’t care.

“[Pag] ako, talagang ‘Nye!’ E, di ganun, papansin lang.

"But if it’s my family, yun, medyo napikon ako.

“But you know, you can just block them and for me, honestly, I think they just found five seconds of fame so it’s up to you if you’re going give that to them.

“Wala pang Twitter, may mga bashers naman na talaga from write-ups and whatever. And you say, ‘Deadma na lang.’”

“I tweet everything! It’s full of a bunch of crazy things, my Twitter account.

“As I always say, when it calls upon my social responsibility, that’s when I’ll use that Twitter account… considering how many followers.

“Puro kabaliwan naman talaga pero if it calls upon… that’s the moment where I’m in…

"Anything that I can get on updates, you share it with everyone para you can pass the news on also. It’s a chain reaction.”

YOUNGER SISTER JASMINE.

Sabi ng Kapamilya actress, “I don’t think so because the age gap is too far away, it’s nine years.

“So I’m very happy for… super push nga, e. Di ba, I mean, at one point, you have to, she’s your baby, you want her to shine, so super push.

"Walang ganun.”

“Sa Transit, the only thing that I told her was, ’When it comes to script reading and throwing lines, you really have to know it… Especially when you’re working with the likes of Ms. Irma Adlawan.’

"So talagang minemorize [memorized] niya in Hebrew.”

And you know, it makes you so proud.

“Especially when we’re all watching kasi at the gala night, parang maiiyak ka sa proud, e.

“Naiiyak ako sa eksena niya… ang galing niya… and to know that all her efforts didn’t go to waste.”

Kasi that is a genre that is totally untouched by me.

“And I think it’s very, very hard for younger sisters when they’re joining the industry to make a mark for themselves.

“And I’m so proud of her kasi that’s an industry I’ll never be able to get into because I’m so mainstream.

But it’s all about having the right script.

“That’s why I’m very proud of Jasmine cause at such a young age, she was able to achieve that.”

Siyempre, she’s a beginner and if you see the cast, pressure yun, di ba?

“And it’s all in Hebrew, all of her lines that she had to learn. So, kahit naman ako.

“She had to learn it while she was away, of course. But she was really… she really took time to perfect [her lines].”

“Uhm, you just have to keep repeating after her na, ‘Ang galing mo, kayang-kaya mo ’yan. O, go! Enjoy, enjoy. Just enjoy.’

"And she really said she was enjoying naman.”
