Daiana Menezes on overcoming marital problems with Benjo Benaldo: "I am keeping my wedding vows."

Daiana Menezes on life after husband Benjo Benaldo’s alleged attempted suicide: "The good thing about it is that when that thing happened, we got even closer, especially the family. And he saw how much I love him, and I saw also how much we should work on this to be together."

“Whatever problems that we had before, it’s thankfully fixed already.”

“When he learned that I wanted to watch the concert, siyempre supportive siya. Sabi niya, ‘If you wanna go, then I’ll go with you,’” nakangiting sabi ni Daiana, na isa palang self-confessed fan ni Pitbull.

THE STORM HAS PASSED.

Saad niya, “We’re very much okay, thankfully.

"I think that the vows we made when we get married, like, keep up with the marriage, I think that’s what God wants.

"I’m keeping with the vows that we had.

"And whatever problems that we had before, it’s thankfully fixed already.”

Paliwanag ni Daiana, “We had violent problems. Nag-sorry naman siya.

"[Then] he had the incident, the thing that happened to him was very unfortunate.

"The good thing about it is that when that thing happened, we got even closer, especially the family.

"And he saw how much I love him, and I saw also how much we should work on this to be together.

"Lahat ng nangyari, from beginning until ngayon, it’s really a lesson from God.”

There’s no connection talaga with me.

"The good thing about it is I was there for him. And I was the only one with him the whole time, all throughout during his recovery.

"And now he appreciates more my love for him.”

Sagot ng Brazilian actress, “No. Because it was accidental. I wasn’t there, e.

"When I found out, I was taping, I ran right away just to be with him.

"I was able to see him after two hours and I stayed with him since then.”

FRESH START.

“It’s really with faith and you have to trust each other. That’s really how you overcome all the problems you had.

"It’s not easy to be married talaga. To all women out there, have faith in your man,” nakingiting pahayag niya.

“I pray every day na huwag na sana ulitin.

"I always tell him also to believe in your wife because she stayed beside you more than anybody else. And it’s not every wife that can actually take a sorry, an apology, and move on. Alam mo yung gano’n?

"We’re still on a trial stage.”

Sabi ni Daiana, “He’s very romantic naman. [But during] that time, it was a very delicate situation.

"It’s not just about giving flowers. It’s really about making up for it talaga.”

“Since sunud-sunod mga problema, we really have to rise above it, head up high. There’s nothing I should be nahihiya about.

"The only thing I did was stay beside the person I married. I think there’s no reason for me to make yuko whatsoever.”

“Yes, we have plans of course. Ideal for me is dalawang kids. I wish!

"Ready naman anytime, if God gives me a blessing of a baby, why not?

"Pero ngayon, sobrang daming trabaho, mahirap yun, e.”

MORE BLESSINGS. Samantala, ilan sa mga pinagkakaabalahan ngayon ni Daiana ay ang international movie na Sketch, directed by Ace Cruz under Spirit Films.

“I’m playing the lead role. I am the manager of the painter, who does drawing and everything. I will make him a more sikat person than what he used to be. But he has a lot of trials in life.

“It’s a dramatic role. It’s like puro iyakan all the time. So I had to go through training talaga.”

“I’m going back to school. I’ll be gone for three months.

"Aside from that, I’m doing so many commercials now,” excited na sabi ni Daiana.
