Jamie Foxx has branded speculation he is dating Katie Holmes "hilarious."
The Django Unchained actor—who is good friends with the 34-year-old beauty's ex-husband Tom Cruise—insists he is not seeing the former Dawson's Creek star, following claims they have been enjoying secret dates.
Jamie insisted the rumors are "100 percent not true," and added to Entertainment Tonight: "In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."
The 45-year-old star—who has two daughters, Corinne, 19, and Annalise, four, from previous relationships—is rumored to have flirted with Katie at a charity concert in East Hampton, New York, in August, where they were spotted dancing and chatting to friends including talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
A source said, Jamie "grabbed her butt and tried to seal the deal" after they shared a dance, but Katie was "not interested."
While the stars insist their summer rendezvous was completely innocent, the pair have reportedly spent time together in recent weeks, including meetings at Katie's apartment in Chelsea, New York.
Mania Days star Katie—who has a four-year-old daughter, Suri, with Tom—is also thought to have spent a night with Jamie at the Trump Soho Hotel, while he was filming new movie Annie in New York in September.
