US President Barack Obama confident about "resiliency" and "Bayanihan spirit" of the Filipinos

Nagpaabot ng mensahe ng suporta si US President Barack Obama sa mga Pilipinong naapektuhan ng super tyhphoon Yolanda, sa pamamagitan ng official statement na inilabas ng White House.


Nagpahayag ng pag-aalala at kalungkutan sina US President Barack Obama at First Lady Michelle Obama sa delubyong inabot ng Pilipinas, partikular na sa Visayas, dahil sa super typhoon Yolanda.

Ayon sa official statement mula sa White House, sinabi ni President Obama na makakaasa ng suporta ang Pilipinas mula sa Amerika.

Narito ang official statement ni President Obama:

“Michelle and I are deeply saddened by the loss of life and extensive damage done by Super Typhoon Yolanda.

“But I know the incredible resiliency of the Philippine people, and I am confident that the spirit of Bayanihan will see you through this tragedy.

“The United States is already providing significant humanitarian assistance, and we stand ready to further assist the Government’s relief and recovery efforts.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the millions of people affected by this devastating storm.”

Nauna na rito, nag-post ng mensahe si President Obama, sa official twitter account ng White House (@WhiteHouse), ng kanyang panalangin para sa Pilipinas:

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the millions of people affected by this devastating storm." —President Obama on Super Typhoon #Yolanda.”

Marami na ring international celebrities, maging si Pope Francis, ang nagpahayag ng kanilang dasal para sa Pilipinas na lubhang nasalanta ng super typhoon Yolanda.
