Eugene Domingo on finding true love: “I’m giving it a deadline.”

The award-winning and versatile comedy actress Eugene Domingo is also getting known for poking fun at her loveless life. Her latest: “If I remain single and I’m already old, I prefer to stay in a convent with a nun singing while I’m dying.

My lovelife is self-supporting in all aspects.”

“No, not now… maybe next year,” ani Eugene.

Sagot ng 42-year-old actress, “Wrong time, wrong person.

“I think when I was younger, you’re more proud about being single, I don’t need anybody.

“But when you age, you tend to be more open.”

Ang kanya namang natutunan mula sa relasyong iyon: “You cannot be tempted. Do not be tempted.”

Tugon niya, "I hope. But I’m giving it a deadline. Maybe until next year I’m hoping."

"I’ll stop hoping,” pahayag niya.

“I just know, I am very sure that… this is from the song of Barbra Streisand, ‘Lovers are very special people and I wanna be special.’”

“Today you can be very silent, tomorrow you’re dramatic, and on the third day you’re suicidal… you think you’re suicidal.

“Stages naman ‘yon… ang importante, you have a friend beside you.”

“While praying…” sagot niya.

“I think so,” tugon ni Eugene.

“I can die in a convent. If I remain single, I’ll die in a convent.

“If I remain single and I’m already old, I prefer to stay in a convent with a nun singing while I’m dying.

Aniya patungkol kay Sam, “He’s very patient and he’s very hard-working.

“He is very patient because I took a break for more than five days and he went on his own, promoting the movie.

“That’s not madalas to happen.”

“I don’t wanna play a mother, ayoko nung mother-mother roles, because I think wala pa akong enough experience to play it.

“Sometimes, you have to play it because you’re an actress.

“Sometimes, it’s really funny when you play the mother, like Momzillas.

"I did this year also, but I think I’d prefer non-mother roles,” aniya.
