“And if I can do that and spend time with my family, that would be a great Christmas for me.”

Ano ba ang masasabi niyang biggest achievement nitong 2013?

Kuwento pa ng Maria Mercedes star, “I think balancing six movies and a teleserye.

"Parang, last year I challenged myself to doing two teleseryes and both airing simultaneously.

“And this year I want to push that even further by doing more movies.

"I felt parang naramdaman ko sa sarili ko na parang hindi ko pinagbigyan ang sarili ko in doing movies last year.

"In all honesty, noong nagsimula yung taon na ‘to, when a movie camera aimed at me, I was still not comfortable, parang hindi ako comfortable, parang sanay pa rin ako sa TV.

“So after this whole experience, parang na-differentiate ko yung acting when it comes to TV and movies, which has to be totally different.”

"Plano ko naman when it comes to football, it’s like my career in showbiz. Start from the bottom up.

"That’s what I gonna do. I’m not gonna take any freebies when it comes to football so if I gonna start at the second division of UFL [United Football League], I’ll do that.”

Gagawin daw niya ito dahil nakikinita niyang ito na ang tamang pagkakataon.

Saad pa niya, “You know if I’m not going to do it now, I can’t ever do it, ‘coz I’m not getting any younger.

"I feel like my game right now… the way I play I think I have, maybe, two good moves.

"Papasalamat ako sa Azkals kasi nabuhayan din ang loob ng mga Filipino sa football.”

Five years old pa lang daw si Jake ng nagka-interes sa naturang sport. Pero, kapag nakapasok naman daw siya sa anumang koponan ng football, hindi daw niya iiwan ang showbiz.
