12 Years A Slave and American Hustle were named Best Motion Pictures in the 71st Golden Globe Awards.
Top acting honors went to Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) and Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine) for Drama, and Leonardo DiCaprio (The Wolf of Wall Street) and Amy Adams (American Hustle) for Comedy/Musical.
In the Television category, newbie Brookly Nine-Nine won Best Comedy Series and the just-concluded Breaking Bad was named Best Drama Series.
