Nilinaw ni Rose Ann Uy Aguilar na wala siyang alam tungkol sa akusasyong rape ni Roxanne Acosta Cabañero laban sa aktor na si Vhong Navarro.
Sina Rose Ann at Roxanne ay dating magkasama sa isang beauty pageant noong 2010.
Sa TV Patrol kagabi, February 24, naiulat na kumpirmadong tetestigo si Rose Ann para sa panig ni Roxanne.
Sa text message na ipinadala ng abugado ni Rose Ann na si Atty. Adel Reyes sa ABS-CBN News, sinabi niya, “Hi yes, Ms. Rhoanne Aguilar is a witness to the Cabañero case. A witness of the prosecution [Cabañero].
“As such, to protect the integrity of the legal process, she is not at liberty to discuss any matter pertaining to the case itself with the public or to the media. I hope you understand. She will be making no statements.”
CLARIFICATION. Samantala, kasunod ng balitang tetestigo siya para sa prosecution, isang paliwanag naman ang nai-post ni Rose Ann sa kanyang Twitter account (@rhoanneaguilar).
Kabilang rito ang paglilinaw na hindi niya kaibigan si Roxanne.
Sa kanyang magkakasunod na Twitter posts kaninang madaling-araw, February 25, sinabi ni Rose Ann na hindi niya alam kung may nangyari nga sa pagitan nina Vhong at Roxanne.
Nilinaw rin niyang sa Millenia Suites at hindi sa Astoria Plaza Hotel sila nag-check in kasama ang iba pang kandidata para sa pageant na sinalihan nila noong 2010.
Ang Millenia Suites at Astoria Plaza Hotel ay parehong matatagpuan sa Ortigas, Pasig City.
