Nilinaw ni Derek Ramsay na walang namamagitan sa kanila ni Kris Aquino.
Nagsimula ang espekulasyon sa pagitan nina Derek, 37, at Kris, 43, nang mag-post noong April 1 ang TV host-actress sa Instagram ng mensahe patungkol sa hunky actor:
“THANK YOU because God must love me to give me someone like you to lean on & count on. Bahala na kayo sa interpretation but @ramsayderek11 deserves a shout out. THANK YOU!”

Dahil dito ay nagkaroon ng espekulasyon na baka si Derek na ang bagong inspirasyon ngayon ni Kris.
Ngunit sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Derek kahapon, April 2, binigyang-linaw niya ang ugnayan nila ni Kris.
Diin ng aktor, “There’s no relationship. No, there is no relationship going on.
“Hindi ako nanliligaw, we’re friends, hindi kami.
“Of course we’re friends, we’re friends for years.
“We were friends the day I started with San Miguel doing my commercial with her.
“We worked together couple of times, but just lately, nagsama kami.
"She asked me for an advice on guy’s point of view... I gave her guy’s point of view.
“I asked her advice the other day from something, that’s why she posted, ‘Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be there for you also’ ‘coz I’m really there for her.”
Ayon pa kay Derek, hindi porke’t nakikita siyang lumalabas na may kasamang babae ay nangangahulugang nanliligaw agad siya rito.
“Wala, wala talaga.
“I just wanna say if I get seen out with a woman, does it mean na may intention na agad ako na ligawan?”
BREAKFAST AND DINNER. Gaano naman katotoo ang balitang madalas daw silang nakikitang magkasamang nagbi-breakfast at nagdi-dinner ni Kris?
Tanggi ni Derek, “No, we never had breakfast.
“We had a drink out and we posted picture. We’re not hiding anything.
“We went to the party of Vice Ganda together and those were only two times na nagkasama kami.”
Diin pa niya, “No, hindi kami nag-dinner.
“We had a drink few weeks ago, and that was it.
“She had one drink, for about an hour, and that was it.
“We posted the picture on the Instagram about it. We took it out when people are reacting.”
Kamakailan ay nag-post din si Kris sa kanyang Instagram account ng larawan kung saan kasama niya ang ama ni Derek na si Derek Ramsay Sr.
Dahil dito, may usap-usapang naipakilala na raw ni Derek si Kris sa kaniyang pamilya.
Ngunit paglilinaw ng aktor, “My dad did a survey in her house for work.
“People are making story that she went out on a date with my father and my mom.
“My dad went to her house to make a survey for an electronic security system.
“She posted a picture of them in her house with my dad…”
Dagdag pa ni Derek tungkol kay Kris, “She’s a friend, she’s a dear friend of the family.
“People are making story that she went out on a date with my father and my mom.”
NOT AFFECTED. Hindi naman itinago ni Derek na nasasaktan siya sa sinasabi ng iba na naggagamitan lang daw sila ni Kris sa iba’t ibang dahilan.
Sabi niya, “Gagamitin ko for what? What will I use Kris for?
“What she will use me for? She’s Kris Aquino.”
Sa kabila ng mga intrigang ito, hindi raw ito makakaapekto sa pagkakaibigan nila ng TV host-actress.
“No, because we’re not doing anything wrong.
“We’re just being friends and I will not let people stop me from being her friend.”
Inamin din ni Derek na may idine-date siyang non-showbiz girl ngayon.
“I’m dating somebody out of showbiz, but I’m not in a relationship yet,” sabi niya.
