Wala raw alam si Derek Ramsay tungkol sa relasyon nina Kris Aquino at Mayor Herbert Bautista bago ang ginawang pag-amin ng Queen of All Media sa programang Aquino and Abunda Tonight noong April 7.

“Prior to admission? Wala akong alam na inamin ni Kris na sila.
"Nag-admit ba siya? She said that they’re together?" tanong ni Derek nang makausap siya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa contract signing niya para sa Regal Entertainment noong April 10.
Ginawa ni Kris ang pag-amin tungkol sa kanila ni Mayor Herbert noong April 7. Ibig sabihin, tatlong araw na ang nakalilipas nang makaharap ng press si Derek.
Natatawang sabi naman ni Derek, “I know that there’s something brewing, but you’re the one who told me now na sila na.”
Biniro naman si Derek ng ibang entertainment press na “echosera” siya.
“Hindi, mamatay na!” natatawang giit niya.
CONFIDANTE. Ayon kay Derek, nagkukuwento sa kanya si Kris tungkol sa lovelife nito, pero hindi naman daw niya puwedeng ipagkalat ito.
"I can’t let the world know, she trusts me with what she tells me.
"I can’t broadcast that to the world."
Sa palagay ba niya ay masaya si Kris kay Mayor Herbert?
“I don’t know. I can’t answer that question,” nakangiting sagot ni Derek.
Gaano ba sila ka-close ni Kris?
“We’re very close, she opens up a lot to me.
"What she goes through, what’s happening, whats makes her happy, what makes her sad.
"She opens that part of her life to me, yeah, we’re very close.
“But going back to the whole love thing, I won’t believe it until it comes out of her mouth.”
HERBERT. Nang nakausap namin si Derek sa contract signing niya sa Regal, nabanggit niya na baka magkita at mag-usap sila ni Kris noong araw ring iyon.
Hindi kaya pagselosan ni Mayor Herbert ang closeness nila ni Kris?
Sagot ni Derek, “No, kilala ko rin si Herbert.
"I used to work with him in Super Inggo [ABS-CBN], way back before.
"And I have also contact with him for business, not in showbiz.
“But I don’t think he has anything to be jealous about.”
UP AND ABOUT. Isa na ngang Regal baby si Derek.
Matagal na raw tapos ang kontrata niya sa Star Cinema, ang film arm ng ABS- CBN.
Sabi niya, “Tapos na yun, a long, long time ago.
"I think even before I was shooting The Mistress [2012], tapos na yata ang kontrata.”
Wala ba siyang kontrata sa Viva Films?
“That’s non-exclusive. I have four pictures contract movie with Viva and four movies with Regal.
"It’s just nice that you can work with everybody.”
Dugtong pa niya, “Just like my manager [Joji Dingcong] said, I can make movie with GMA Films.
"I’m actually be doing a movie with Antonio Tuviera and his son, Mike Tuviera, for Cinemalaya."
Hinintay ba niyang alukin siya ng Star Cinema na papirmahing muli ng kontrata?
Sagot ni Derek, "You know, I love to work with Star Cinema. I have no bad blood with Star Cinema or ABS-CBN.
“We’ve already gone through what happened.
"It’s already water under the bridge, but I have to respect whatever decision that they make.
“That’s their decision, that’s their business.
"For me, if they’ll give me an opportunity, I’ll work with them."
Dating contract star ng ABS-CBN si Derek bago siya lumipat sa TV5 noong 2012.
MARIAN RIVERA. Ang unang pelikula ni Derek sa Regal ay pagtatambalan nila ni Marian Rivera.
Excited na raw siyang makasama ang Kapuso Primetime Queen.
Sabi ng aktor, “I never worked with her before.
"And like I’ve said, the longest conversation I had with Marian was five to ten minutes in New York.
“So, I’d love to work with Marian Rivera.”
Totoo bang may pelikula rin silang pagsasamahan ni Kris Aquino?
Sagot niya, “I don’t know with Mother [Lily Monteverde], but matagal nang pinag-uusapan is the one with Marian.
"Actually, dapat nga, it was with Marian and Lovi [Poe], so tingnan natin."
SOLENN HEUSSAFF. Nabanggit din kay Derek ang ex-girlfriend niyang si Solenn Heussaff, na isa ring Regal baby.
Kung excited siyang makatrabaho si Marian, excited din ba siyang makatrabaho si Solenn kung saka-sakali?
Tugon niya, “It’s really cool to be in a movie with Solenn, she’s definitely developing as an actress.
"Yung pag-aarte niya, walang problema. Yung Tagalog lang niya. Ngayon, marunong nang mag-Tagalog.
“I think it’s a great movie kung magsama kami ni Solenn.”
Kung magkasama sila ni Solenn sa isang proyekto, may posibilidad kayang magkaroon ng Part 2 ang kanilang relasyon?
Natawa si Derek at sinabing, “We don’t know what the future holds, but that, I highly doubt.
"She’s very happy in her relationship and she looks like that she’s walking down the aisle very soon.
“I’m very happy for her, I can see it.
"I know Solenn. She’s a loving girl and I know when she’s very much in love."
Ang boyfriend ngayon ni Solenn ay ang Argentinian na si Nico Bolzico.
NO SECOND MARRIAGE. Sa kaso naman ni Derek, aminado siyang mayroon siyang idini-date ngayong non-showbiz girl pero wala pa siyang planong magpakasal.
Dagdag pa rito, hindi pa puwedeng magpakasal si Derek dahil inaayos pa ang una niyang pagpapakasal sa non-showbiz girl na nagngangalang Mary Christine Jolly.
Sabi ni Derek, “That’s being sorted out but, like I’ve said, it’s not really a priority to get married.
"Not that I don’t want to, back in the days with Angelica [Panganiban, his ex-girlfriend]...
“Kung gusto ng partner ko na magpakasal, ibibigay ko yun.
“It has to happen one day, I’m not getting any younger.”
Hindi naman siya napaso sa una, walang trauma?
Sagot niya, “Not at all. Hindi nga ako na-trauma sa bali ko.
"You can’t live life like that.
"There’s stumble that happened in your life, you learned from it, you get back on your feet and you move forward.”
ANGELICA. Mae-excite din kaya siya kung sakaling dumating ang panahong magkasama silang muli ni Angelica sa isang project?
Sabi ni Derek, “Actually, funny enough, may isang project nga na in-offer in the movie.
"I don’t know if may mga eksena kaming magaganap, it’s like more on a cameo.”
Indie film daw yun, pero hindi pa naman daw nag-uumpisa.
Sumagot na ba si Angelica kung payag itong makasama siyang muli?
“I don’t know, kasi yung role naman na in-offer sa akin, parang cameo lang, NBI [National Bureau of Investigation] agent ako.
"I don’t think we have any scene together, but that’s the first step, being in one project together.
“I would love to work with Angel again, and I said it before, she’s one of the most talented actresses in the industry.
"So, to be given a role with her again, yeah.”
Simula nang mag-break sila ni Angelica, hindi pa ba sila nagkikitang muli?
Sagot ni Derek, “We’ve run into each other, but it’s not in the right places, I guess.
"On the plane, but I never even ran into her.
“When her grandmother died, I was invited to the wake.
"I spoke to her mom this year, I think we had a healthy conversation, around thirty minutes.”
Sa palagay ba niya ay masaya rin ngayon si Angelica?
“Yeah, I think she’s very happy.
“Sometimes I catch her when I’m changing channels at home.
"I see her in Banana Split, mga guesting niya... she seems very, very happy."
