Korina Sanchez and Mike Enriquez strongly deny receiving birthday cash gifts from Janet Lim-Napoles

Saad ni Korina sa statement na ipinadala sa Inquirer, “I only met Ms Janet Napoles and her family in late 2013 after having been assigned to interview the Napoles Family after the news had broken out about the alleged PDAF scam.

"I had never met Ms Napoles nor had any associations with her, her family, her employees or associates before then, nor after my interview with her and her family.

“I am astounded to learn that I was supposed to have received a birthday gift from her one time 10 years ago in 2004. This never happened.

"I did not receive any such gift, in cash or kind, from Ms Napoles or her company nor through emissaries then and up to now.

“I am dismayed that an unsubstantiated lie such as this should be given as much attention. Because how do you prove a negative?

“I know a Mon Arroyo who is an ex husband of a high school classmate but I have not seen nor spoken nor heard of this person since he and my friend separated more than 10 years ago.

“But since his name is mentioned, I have asked my friend to obtain from her long estranged husband a statement regarding his alleged involvement in this matter.”

MIKE’S STATEMENT.

Aniya, “I vehemently and in the strongest of terms deny knowing Janet Napoles at all and just as strongly deny receiving any gift in whatever form from her.

"People who know me personally and those whom I associate with professionally know very well that both my personal and professional conduct is in strict adherence to the GMA code of ethics and to the values of hard and honest work, decent living and service to God and country.

“Thanks for committing to print my statement in whole. I noticed that the initials of the persons who were supposed to have prepared, released, checked and approved the alleged disbursements do not have any signatures at all.”

ARROYO’S STATEMENT.

Saad nito sa ipinadalang statement sa Inquirer, “I am writing this affidavit after I learned that a story is being written by one Nancy Carvajal implicating my name to an alleged solicitation of funds from Ms Janet Lim-Napoles allegedly to buy gifts for media people.”

Dagdag pa nito, “At no time did I ever ask for any amount of money and at no time was any amount of money given to me for any media person, Ms Sanchez included.”

Lahad pa nito, “I only know her as a high school classmate of my ex-wife, Mylene Pura, from whom I have been separated since 2003.

“I vehemently deny the allegations and I am willing to testify and face Mr. Benhur Luy about the reported ledger entry that I allegedly received money from anyone in the Napoles group.”

Wala pang pahayag sina Macalma at Pacheco.

Levito Baligod.
