(L-R) Vice Ganda, Senator Grace Poe, and Jim Paredes give their reactions about President Noynoy Aquino's SONA on their respective Twitter accounts.

Jim Paredes, Apo Hiking Society

#SONA2014 Despite what his detractors say, he has achieved A LOT. Now he must make sure that the changes will be permanent. No going back

— Jim (@Jimparedes) July 28, 2014

Ces Oreña-Drilon, journalist

It was an emotional #SONA2014 where PNoy held back tears showing the heavy burden of the presidency & impact of protests & criticism.

Adel Tamano, lawyer

I was moved by PNOY's reference to his parents in his SONA speech. In my own small way, I try to live up to my late father's values. #SONA

— Atty. Adel Tamano (@adeltamano) July 28, 2014

Senator Sonny Angara

Happy to see prez acknowledge non politicos #sona2014

— Sonny Angara (@sonnyangara) July 28, 2014

Let's face it guys it ain't easy being president. But the mans giving it his all

— Sonny Angara (@sonnyangara) July 28, 2014

San Juan Representative JV Ejercito

Even if I am in the opposition, I think this SONA is the best by PNoy. Concise and simple. He became emotional in the end. Pati ako nadala.

— JV Ejercito (@jvejercito) July 28, 2014

Teddy Locsin Jr., journalist

I LIKE IT. THE BEST SONA HE HAS DELIVERED, NO GIMMICKS EXCEPT FOR SOME GMA TYPE VIDEOS. http://t.co/mYfcxjF6Hf via @ABSCBNNews

— Teddy Locsin Jr. (@teddyboylocsin) July 28, 2014

Bianca Gonzalez, TV host

I actually quite liked the appeal to the emotions and hint at the trust and nearing of the passing of the baton to end.. para sa akin ha

— Bianca Gonzalez (@iamsuperbianca) July 28, 2014

Vice Ganda, TV host-comedian

First time in my life that i got so emotional and affected while listening to SONA. I felt what i heard.

— jose marie viceral (@vicegandako) July 28, 2014

Although the President did not mention FOI, I am still optimistic that this important measure will be passed under his leadership.

— Grace Poe (@sengracepoe) July 28, 2014

First reaction: FOI / 2nd: Risky yata yung if u're against me u're vs reform. 3rd: Will she say hi to Herbert? Last reacrion: yosi na ser.

— Gang Capati (@gangbadoy) July 28, 2014

ON OPPOSITION GROUPS.

Kelan ba nakontento? Hinding hindi tyo makukontento. Dhil walang panahong perpekto.

— jose marie viceral (@vicegandako) July 28, 2014

— jose marie viceral (@vicegandako) July 28, 2014

Gang Badoy

— Gang Capati (@gangbadoy) July 28, 2014

Atom Araullo, journalist

Police apparently blasting demonstators with a mixture of water & red dye to tag them. Throwback to martial law tactics. What is ironic.
