Pahayag niya, “I feel like it’s a different chapter of my life now, and I’m so thankful that ALV make payag.
"He’s so nice that he understands it’s for my future, for my kid.
“Biglaan, pero maayos naman, because I didn’t expect it as well.
"We were working on something and then it came up, and I spoke to him about it.
"Since ninong din siya ng anak ko, I think he understood.
"I’m sure he’s disappointed.
"We’ve gone through so much together, he has done so much for me.
"Ang dami kong dream projects na nanggaling sa kanya.
"If not for him, I wouldn’t have met Direk Lauren [Dyogi] wouldn’t have had the chance.
"I will always be grateful to him, but it’s also nice to come home."

Saad niya, "I was discovered by Mr. M [Johnny Manahan, Star Magic head].
"And even when I was under ALV, I always said it was Mr. M who discovered me.
"I think with each chapter of your life, you go through a lot of things, I think this is a new phase in my life."
Alam daw ni Denise na malaki ang tampo sa kanya ng dati niyang manager kaya aniya, "I will tell him every day how much I appreciate everything he did to me.
"Even if he said it’s okay, I’m sure naman na medyo masakit yun.
"Kasi nga, we’ve gone through so much together.
"When I got pregnant, he was with me.
"When I got the Pantene commercial, he was with me.
"When I started Precious Heart with Direk Lauren again… ang dami talaga naming pinagsamahan na I will always forever be grateful."
Nakausap namin si Denise sa contract signing niya sa Kapamilya network kahapon, August 21, Huwebes.
Muli siyang pumirma ng panibagong kontrata sa ABS-CBN.
Saad niya, “It’s a two-year contract. Whatever they give me, I’ll be so thankful.
"Parati kong sinasabi na kahit na ano ang ibigay nila sa akin, I’ll be giving it 200 percent.
"I had before Annaliza, Paraiso, Pintada, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig."
PERSONAL LIFE. Kinumusta rin namin kay Denise ang anak niyang si Alejandro, na dalawang taon na ngayon.
Sabi niya, “Super cute!
"Natuwa ako kasi bago ko pumunta dito, sabi ko, 'I’m going to work, I’m gonna be back later.'
"Lumabas siya naka-polo 'tapos may bootie, sabi niya, 'I’m coming with you.'
"Sabi ko, “'Di puwede, walang mga bata dun.'
"Then I explained to him na I’m coming back right away."
Kailan naman kaya mauuwi sa kasalan ang relasyon nila ng boyfriend niyang basketball player, si Sol Mercado ng San Miguel Beermen?
Sabi ni Denise, “Going on three... We haven’t spoken about it 'cause he’s very supportive of my career.
"'In my heart, tayo na,' sabi niya, 'whatever you do, reach for your dreams, go, do it.'
“Maybe two years from now.
"I’m not really sure, we haven’t spoken about it.
"There are lots of things he has to do in his own his career, and myself also.
"We don’t live together also, so that’s the thing we look forward also when we get married.
"We are building our dream place when we do get married in the future.
"Marami pa kaming pag-iipunan.”
