Drew Arellano delays baby plans with wife Iya Villania: "Ang target namin 2016, gates will open."

"We need to prioritize our relationship as husband and wife. If ever your foundation will be solid as husband and wife, it will just trickle down when you have kids,” says Drew Arellano in an interview yesterday, September 22.

Ikinasal sina Drew at Iya noong January 31, 2014.

“Yeah, we love kids. But the thing is, we need to prioritize our relationship as husband and wife.

“If ever your foundation will be solid as husband and wife, it will just trickle down when you have kids.”

“When I say that we are having such a great time, para kaming nagbabahay-bahayan.

“When we were boyfriend-girlfriend, we never really had that opportunity to stay under one roof.

“Ever since, before naman, the family of Iya is conservative, e,” paliwanag ni Drew.

QUALITY TIME TOGETHER.

Sabi pa ni Drew, “We’re a very, very normal couple, and we love just staying at home.”

“Ever since, she loves to workout.

“I guess, because yung barkada ko, into triathlon. Yung mga asawa nila, mahilig sa triathlon.

"So, it’s easy for her to venture into triathlon.

“You know, when you exercise, after that, you feel good.

“What if both of you do that? Ibig sabihin, good vibes lang kayo.

"Parang it’s a domino effect.”

NOT THE JEALOUS TYPE.

Saad niya, “It wasn’t really the perfect relationship from day one.

“But, I think, it’s the communication rule.

"Na, since day one, we talked about it na communication will play a vital role.

“And so, [kung] may tampuhan man or whatever, communication and open-mindedness [should prevail].”

Dagdag pa ni Drew, “We were never really that type of couple.

"I don’t really go out. She’s not a gimikera. So, wala, e.

“I guess, we’re both very fortunate na I love sleeping early because I need to wake up early.

"Parang naging culture yung ganun."
