Robin Padilla on daughter Kylie being linked to Rayver Cruz: "Ang gusto ko sa anak ko, Muslim."

Robin Padilla says he wants his daughter Kylie Padilla to end up with a Muslim but he admits, "Kung ano man ang gawin ni Kylie, kanya yun.

Robin Padilla finally opened up about Rayver Cruz who is being linked to his daughter Kylie Padilla.

In a previous interview, Kylie quoted her father as saying that Robin described Rayver as "mabait."

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other select members of the media had the chance to interview Robin last night, October 23, during the last shooting day of the movie Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo.

When PEP asked Robin if he is in favor of Rayver for his daughter Kylie, he pointed out: "Ang gusto ko sa anak ko, Muslim.

The actor, who will portray Andres Bonifacio in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, added: "Kumbaga, respetuhan ng religion.

What is Robin’s take on Kylie going out with guys who are not Muslims?

He explains that even going out with non-Muslims is frowned upon.

"Yung ginagawa niya outside her work, dun siya huhusgahan ng Panginoon.

"Halimbawa, nag-date siya, mali yun. Hindi yun pinapaboran."

What if Kylie ends up being with a guy who is not a Muslim?

"Issue niya yun," answered Robin.

He added with a laugh, "Kung disi-sais [16] years old ’yan, may sapok ’yan!"

In a previous interview, Kylie told members of the press: “Siya [Robin] ang may sabi, ’Anak, mabait ’yon.’”

Robin used to work with Rayver Cruz for the sitcom Toda Max, which is why he had the chance to know the actor before he was linked to his daughter Kylie.

When asked why he described Rayver as "mabait," Robin explained, "Kasi mabait sa nanay. Wala akong sinabing may kinalaman sa kanila yun."

Robin recalled what he said about Rayver, who is the leading man of Kylie in the horror film Dilim.
