Mary Christine Jolly withdraws concubinage complaint vs Derek Ramsay, Angelica Panganiban

“Ang kagandahan nito, both parties came to an agreement to serve the best interest of the child," says the legal counsel of Mary Christine Jolly in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph today, November 3.

“The parties made peace with each other and part of the peace is this one [withdrawal of concubinage complaint],” pahayag ng legal counsel ni Mary na si Atty. Argee Gueverra.

Inaprubahan na rin ng Makati Prosecutor’s Office ang mosyon ni Mary na i-withdraw ang reklamong paglabag sa R.A. 9262 o Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) complaint laban kay Derek noong October 29.

LEGAL SETTLEMENT.

“All parties are happy with the agreement.

“Ang kagandahan nito, both parties came to an agreement to serve the best interest of the child.

“In so far as lawyers are concerned, a good compromise, a good settlement, so to speak, is better than a good case.

“So, I just hope that both parties can just move on and learn from this experience,” saad ni Atty. Agree.

Argee ukol dito, “We cannot disclose the details of the agreement.

“It’s just that both parties are willing to move on.

“Part of this moving on is to lead separate lives outside marital bonds.

“Of course, we foresee the filing of annulment cases in the future.”

Argee, “Ang sabi naman niya [Mary], she hopes that Derek would spend more time with his child.

“I guess, I could glean it from Derek’s camp that Derek himself would want to be a father to his child.

“Although it’s belated, but huli man at magaling ay hahabol din. They have a lot of catching up to do.”

“She’ll be staying here [in Manila] then she’ll be going back to Dubai next year.

“I’m sure babalik-balik din naman.

"Both parties will be shuffling to Dubai and Manila, so bibisita at bibisita rin yung ama,” dagdag na pahayag ng legal counsel ni Mary.
