Lovi Poe feels awkward during interview with half-sister Senator Grace Poe

Lovi Poe on her first interview with half-sister Senator Grace Poe: “It felt so different. I felt so shy. It’s my first interview with her, nahihiya ako. It’s kinda awkward for me kasi everything was too personal at hindi ako sanay na sumagot ng mga personal na question. Sanay ako more about work about myself only.”

Pahayag ng Kapuso actress, “It felt so different. I felt so shy.

“It’s my first interview with her, nahihiya ako.

“It’s kinda awkward for me kasi everything was too personal at hindi ako sanay na sumagot ng mga personal na question.

“Sanay ako more about work about myself only.”

Dagdag niya, “It was hard for me talking about my dad.

It was hard.

“I was controlling… kinontrol ko na huwag maiyak ako.

“A part of me wanted… parang naging emosyonal talaga ako, pero pinigilan ko ang sarili ko, kasi ayoko talagang umiyak on TV.

“I always hold back talaga. I’m not the type who want to be crying in public.

“Parang I always try to keep it private when I’m feeling so emotional.

“I am shy to be vulnerable in front of other people. I’m not the type who ask for sympathy.

“Kumbaga, what you see is what you get.”

FIRST MEETING.

“It was [December 2004] at the wake of our dad sa Sto. Domingo Church.

“I was fifteen years old.

“I knew about her a long time ago.

“My sister was very nice. As usual, mabait naman talaga siya.

“I’m happy na we’ve got to express a lot of things.

“First meeting ko, ipinakilala kami. That time, bata pa ako.

“Mabait na siya sa akin. They were very approachable. Sila pa ang nagyayaya sa akin to join them.”

OTHER HALF-SIBLINGS.

“That was for my dad.
