Ang 20-taong-gulang na si Jamie Herrell mula Masbate ang kinoronahang Miss Earth 2014, kagabi, November 29, sa University of the Philippines (UP) Theater, Quezon City.
Mula sa 85 na mga kandidata mula sa iba’t ibang dako ng mundo, napili si Jamie sa Top 8 kasama ang representatives ng Brazil, Mongolia, Slovak Republic, Venezuela, USA, Russia, at Spain.
Ang itinanghal namang Miss Earth Fire ay si Anastasia Trusova ng Russia, Miss Earth Water naman si Maira Alexandra Rodriguez mula sa Venezuela, at ang Miss Earth Air ay si Andrea Neu mula USA.

QUESTION AND ANSWER. Sa question and answer portion, ang tanong kay Jamie ng judge na si Olivier Ochanine of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra ay, “If you win tonight’s crown, what will you do to reverse global warming?"
Sagot ni Jamie, “Global warming has been known for being a very long, overdue issue.
"That is why if I am crowned tonight, I will use my title to inspire others to help our environment and we will start with the kids because the kids are the people of tomorrow.
"If we teach them, they will also help the community. And that’s what I will do if I’m crowned Miss Earth tonight.”
Sa kanyang profile page sa Miss Earth website, nakasaad dito na ang gusto niyang maging advocacy ay ang "Think Twice Campaign."
Aniya, “I have many environmental activities but I will promote the Miss Philippines Earth ’Think Twice Campaign’ because it is a project that reigning queens of Miss Philippines Earth 2014 and I really worked hard on and it is something I would like to share with the other delegates.
“The ’Think Twice Campaign’ is a communications campaign that teaches people to think twice in finding alternatives in our everyday lives to protect and help Mother Nature.”
