Travel Time host Susan Calo-Medina dies at 73

Susan Calo-Medina, the host of the longest-running local travel show Travel Time, passed away today, January 9, according to National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ Facebook account.

Ang malungkot na balitang ito ay kinumpirma ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Facebook account, Biyernes ng hapon, January 9.

Si Susan, 73, ang host ng longest-running travel show sa Pilipinas, ang Travel Time.

“Our most sincere condolences to the family of Travel Time host Ms. Susan Calo Medina who passed away today. She was a former member of the NCCA's National Committee on Communication,” ayon sa NCCA Facebook account.

Ibinahagi rin sa nasabing post na nakalagak ang mga labi ng pumanaw na TV host sa Sanctuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park, Makati City.

Samantala, sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Twitter account ay nakiramay rin si Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon sa mga naulila ni Susan.

Sinabi ni Gordon na malapit na kaibigan niyang si Susan at kinikilalang tourism advocate.
