11 Filipinos included in 2015 Forbes billionaires list

This 2015, 11 Filipino billionaires have been included in Forbes Magazine’s exclusive billionaires club.


Pinangungunahan ng mall at real estate tycoon na si Henry Sy ang 11 Pilipinong pasok sa richest in the world list ng Forbes Magazine ngayong 2015.

Ang nasabing 11 bilyonaryong Pilipino ay may combined fortune na $51.9 billion o katumbas ng P2.28 trillion.

Si Sy, 90, ay umakyat sa No. 73 mula sa pagiging 97th noong 2014.

Si John Gokongwei Jr., head ng JG Summit Holdings Inc., ay nasa 254th place naman.

Si Gokongwei ang nagmamay-ari ng Robinsons Malls, Universal Robina Corp., at Cebu Pacific.

Tumalon naman sa 291st place si Enrique Razon Jr. ngayong 2015, mula sa 354th place noong 2014.

Si Razon, 54, ang may-ari ng International Container Terminal Services Inc. at Bloomberry Resorts at may net worth na $5.1 billion.

Si Andrew Tan, na may net worth na $4.8 billion, ay nasa 330th place. Siya ang may-ari ng Megaworld.

Tie naman sa No. 369 sina Lucio Tan at George Ty, na parehong may net worth na $4.4 billion.

Kabilang sa negosyo ni Tan ang Philippine Air Lines, banking, tobacco at property industries; habang si Ty ay nasa property, energy industries, at banking.

Robert Coyiuto Jr., 1054th place, $1.8 billion, may-ari ng Prudential at PGA Cars

Manny Villar, 1190th place, $1.7 billion, may-ari ng Vista Land

Samantala, nananatiling richest man in the world si Bill Gates, founder ng Microsoft at philanthropist, na may net worth na $72 billion.

Nasa 16th place naman si Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder, at may net worth na $33.4 billion.
