Sa pagbabalik ni Sharon Cuneta sa ABS-CBN, umaasa siyang makakagawa na siya ng teleserye rito sa unang pagkakataon.
Sa loob ng 23 taong pamamalagi niya noon sa Kapamilya network, hindi pa siya nakagawa ng teleserye rito.
Subalit noong nasa TV5 siya, nagawa niya ang family drama na Madam Chairman.
“I see myself doing a teleserye, yes. I see myself doing a teleserye later. I think they're still being fixed,” sabi ng Megastar sa press conference na inihanda ng ABS-CBN para sa kanyang pagbabalik sa network.
Ginanap ito ngayong hapon, March 9, sa ABS-CBN compound.
Ipinauubaya na raw ni Sharon sa network executives ang tungkol sa proyektong ito.
“At this point, I'm in the best hands I've ever been in.
“I am in the hands of people who care for me.
“Of course, everyone, including me, is concerned about the ratings.
“But to be in the hands of people you have worked with before, you are sure that they love you not just as an actress, but are actually really concerned about you.
“I'm very happy for this opportunity. I'm just happy to be back.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Everything else that comes in my way, I know, will be well thought of, will be as ready as anything before it's presented to me.
“I'm excited to be doing so many other things.
"I wanna do acting, singing, whatever else I haven't done on TV.
“Remember, I still haven't done a drama series. That is my thing.”
“WORKING WITH ANYONE.” Kahit kanino raw ay handa siyang makipagtrabaho ngayon.
Biro nga ni Sharon, “Lahat sila welcome. Gusto ko lang ipaalam na kung hindi po natuloy, sila ang umayaw!”
Kabilang ba rito ang kanyang anak na si KC Concepcion at dating asawa na si Gabby Concepcion?
Sagot ng Megastar, “You know, at this point, I feel like I'm open to anything.
"I'm open to work with anyone, with KC, former leading men, ex-husband."
Gayunman, aniya, “At this point, I'm very open to anything.
"But I think, for my first teleserye, I'm not so excited for a loveteam muna or something with my daughter.
“Parang it will all come later, parang let's try to come back muna.”
Kabilang din sa natanong kay Sharon ay ang posibleng pakikipagtrabaho niya kay Piolo Pascual, isa sa top leading men ng ABS-CBN at ex-boyfriend ng anak niyang si KC.
Hindi raw ito problema sa kanya, subalit agad nilinaw ng actress/singer/TV host: “Noong tinanong sa akin, siyempre I said happy ako, kasi I've been humbled.
“Everything is in the past. Hindi lang naman siya ang nasaktan, kami rin naman.
“I hope na when you write about it, yung neutral.
“Ayaw kong may mag-accuse sa akin na nanggagamit ako kasi tinanong lang naman ako.”
Diin pa niya sa huli, “I just like to say that I'm open to working with anyone.”
