Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week.

The two actors closed Valentino's show Tuesday, March 10, in character as Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald, their model alter egos from 2001 comedy Zoolander, much to the delight of the audience.

A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column:

"It was hilarious. People freaked out...

"And they were a much bigger hit in Paris than Kimye."

According to the onlooker, the music at the show suddenly switched to "Don't You Want Me" by the Human League and the two actors stepped out and walked the entire runway, before receiving a standing ovation as the other models stepped out for the finale.

One stylist was overheard saying: "It's about time there is some humor in this industry."

Ben, as Derek, wore a custom Night Butterflies brocade suit with hand-embroidered overcoat and black Creeper shoes, while his co-star, as Hansel, donned a Silk Continent print pyjama suit with Double Cashmere overcoat and Open sneakers.
