Megan Young signs one-year contract with GMA; to co-host StarStruck 6 with Dingdong Dantes

After more than a decade, Megan Young is returning to GMA Network, where she began her career. Megan joined StarStruck 2 in 2004.

“The show that attracted me the most is the first project that I’m going to do with GMA, StarStruck.

"So, I’m really happy [that] they thought of me."

“That’s interesting kasi we look up to him when he was hosting, so parang kuya namin siya,” sabi ni Megan tungkol sa Kapuso Primetime King.

Nang matanong kung sino pang Kapuso actor ang gusto niyang makatrabaho, sagot ni Megan: “Before, I worked with Tom [Rodriguez] sa mga past projects namin, so why not? I’d love to work with Tom again.”

PARTING WITH ABS-CBN.

“Everything went well naman.

“I was able to talk to Star Magic. Siyempre, the people who saw me through my teenage years—sina Miss Mariole [Alberto, Star Magic head] and Mr. M [Johnny Manahan, Star Magic founder].

“I was able to talk to them naman, as you know, mga mentors.

"Kumbaga, everything went well. We had a nice talk.

"Everything went good, and they wished me luck, very good luck.”

Paliwanag niya, “At the end of the day, it’s work.

"No matter where I am naman, it’s all about being able to give my full capacity to the network.

"And as an artist, I want to be able to grow as well.

“And it’s nice to be back. Dito ako nagsimula.

"I started my showbiz career here in GMA and, in a way, it’s a way of giving back."
