Paul Soriano no complaints about Toni Gonzaga’s intimate scene with Coco Martin: "Close eyes na lang ako!"

Paul Soriano on Toni Gonzaga’s daring roles in the big screen: "When it’s in front of the camera, I have to accept the fact that she’ll be kissing these good looking men. What can I do? But behind the camera, sana ako na lang yun," says Paul in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

“Actually, it’s really funny.

"I know si Toni rin magaling ‘yan sa comedy, pero si Coco ang natawa talaga ako.

“I see him from mga serious niya, yung mga films niya sa Cannes [Film Festival].

"Then, all of a sudden, naging comedy [siya for this movie], parang ang galing niya, okey siya.

“And I can relate kasi my Tagalog is like his English sa movie,” nakangiting pahayag ni Paul.

“I think Toni fed off Coco and Coco fed off Toni, and that’s what makes them great actors.

“They know how to balance their chemistry.

"I actually wanna see them in another movie together. It’s refreshing."

INTIMATE SCENES.

“I have to accept it.

"I am a director. Who I am to tell her I don’t understand?

“She’ll just be like, ‘Director ka, ha!’

"I understand. There’s professional and there’s personal.

“When it’s in front of the camera, I have to accept the fact that she'll be kissing these good looking men. What can I do?

Sagot ng 33-year-old director/producer: “That’s really up to her, honestly.

“Getting married doesn’t mean she stops what she’s doing.

“I don’t wanna be that guy ten years from now and she’s gonna blame me, ‘Why did you tell me to stop?’

"I want it to come from her.

“Marriage is something where two people come together.

"Just like how she supports my career, I also support her career."

“And you know the advice that we’ve been getting from people? Eventually, as you grow older, it just naturally happens.

“Especially when you become a mother, when you become a parent.

“Things change, priorities change.

"Let it happen. Let it take its course."
