Itinuturing ng "The Filipino Flash" Nonito Donaire na “scariest day” ng kanyang buhay ang pagsilang ng ikalawang anak nila ni Rachel noong Miyerkules, April 15 (oras sa U.S.).
Sa Instagram post na ibinahagi niya noong Biyernes, April 17, ikinuwento ng Pinoy boxer ang naranasan niya.
“This was the scariest day of my life,” sabi ni Nonito.
“I felt like my entire world was going to be taken from me n was almost in tears all I could do was pray as I saw my wife lose consciousness and Drs panicking that she was hemorrhaging.
“She lost 2.2 liters of blood and after ensuring Jarel Logan was pulled and ok, they had to save Rachel.
“She is stable now and being monitored.
“#Godisgood and our #angels are strong.
“Jarel 'Logan' came out 18 inches, 5 pounds 4 ounces, no feeding tubes or breathing tubes and drank a healthy 15 ml his first feeding.
“Thank you to everyone for all the #prayers and #lovesent to our #family.”

Samantala, sa kanyang Facebook account ay muling nagpasalamat si Nonito sa pagiging ligtas ng kanyang mag-ina.
