Looking good ang beteranong aktor na si Tirso Cruz III matapos ang matagumpay niyang operasyon kaugnay ng kanyang lung cancer.
Lingid sa kaalaman ng marami, na-diagnose na may lung cancer si Tirso noong 2014. Ngunit matapos sumailalim sa isang operasyon ay idineklara na siyang cancer-free.

Pahayag ni Tirso sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “I’m really good.
"After my operation, everything was declared well by my doctor.
“Sabi nga niya, technically, for other people, they call it intermission. The sickness is intermission.
“The operation was done sometime mid of September [last year].
"Wala na yung cancer after my last check-up, my last CT scan.
"Right now, I’m taking my regular vitamins.”
Labis umano ang pasasalamat ng dating matinee idol sa Panginoon sa ibinigay na pangalawang buhay niya. Gayundin din sa mga doktor na siyang tumutok sa panahon ng treatment niya.
Sabi pa ni Pip, palayaw ng aktor, “As a born-again Christian, my faith is in God. And God has also showed me that He is an answering God.”
Ano ang kanyang naging reaksiyon nang malaman niyang mayroon siyang cancer?
Saad niya, “Kahit sino namang magkaroon ng cancer… fear, panic… very natural tendency ng tao, ‘di ba?
“Call upon the Lord, ask that, if possible, miraculously, it will be taken away from your body.
“Kaya nung nalaman ko na wala na yung cancer, of course abut-abot ang pasasalamat ko sa Diyos.
"There’s none other to thank but God.
“I thank my doctors, but I believe that it was still God who is taking hold of their hands.
“Na Siyang tumulong how to go about the operation and the treatment.
“We should never lose hope. Never lose our faith in God.
“Call on Him so that you’ll realize how powerful and big the God we have.
“And how wonderful and how loving He is.”

Ayon kay Pip, “Itong first week of May ang naka-schedule ay yung teleserye namin with Juday [Judy Ann Santos] and Richard Yap."
Ito ay ang Someone To Watch Over Me kung saan gaganap siya bilang partner ni Richard sa isang big business.
Bad guy ang kanyang character?
“Uhm… grey matter. Sa akin naman, mabait o kontrabida na role, okey lang.”
