Manny Pacquiao, other celebrities rejoice over delay of Mary Jane Veloso's execution

Manny plans to visit Mary Jane in Indonesia after his fight with Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao, Dingdong Dantes, Robin Padilla, Dawn Zulueta, Angel Locsin, and other celebrities are glad to hear about the last-minute reprieve of Mary Jane Veloso's execution.

Balak ni Manny Pacquiao na bisitahin ang Pinoy migrant worker na si Mary Jane Veloso, kasunod ng paglabas ng balitang ipinagpaliban ang nakatakda sanang pagbitay rito kaninang madaling-araw, April 29.

Ayon sa ulat ng ABS-CBN News, sinabi ng Pambansang Kamao na intensiyon niyang bisitahin si Mary Jane sa Indonesia sa Lunes, May 4, dalawang araw pagkatapos ng laban nila ni Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Sa pagbisitang ito, nais ni Manny na makausap si Mary Jane, pati na ang mga opisyal ng gobyerno ng Indonesia.

Kakausapin din daw ng Sarangani representative si Pangulong Noynoy Aquino upang gawing state-sanctioned visit ang pagpunta niya sa Indonesia.

Matatandaang noong Lunes, April 27, nakiusap si Manny kay Indonesian President Joko Widodo na huwag ituloy ang execution kay Mary Jane, na na-convict sa kasong drug smuggling sa Indonesia.

Ang 30-anyos na si Mary Jane ay nahuli na may dalang 2.6 kilo ng heroin sa kanyang bagahe sa Yogyakarta International Airport noong 2010.

Hindi natuloy ang pagbitay kay Mary Jane kanina matapos pagbigyan ng Indonesian government ang hiling ng Pilipinas na ipagpaliban muna ito, dahil sumuko sa mga awtoridad ang diumano'y recruiter ni Mary Jane na itinuturong konektado sa drug syndicate.

Samantala, nagpahayag din ng kasiyahan ang iba pang celebrities sa naging desisyon ni President Widodo na ipagpaliban ang hatol na bitay kay Mark Jane:
