“It’s like a calling.
Sabi pa ng The Voice of the Philippines coach, “I was given an opportunity to be brought to the U.S. and became a part of the Black Eyed Peas.
“I have the means to do so, so I wanna pay it forward and follow [in] the footsteps of people who helped me.
"So, this is my way of sharing, collaboration, and also discovering.”
Saad ni Apl, “When I first saw Jessica and saw her looks and [how] she loves to perform, she reminded me of like the Pinay Beyonce.
“That was when I first saw her. I was like, ‘I can develop her of becoming the Beyonce of the Philippines.’”
Pagdating naman kay Miguel, aniya, “I saw him at a charity show and he was, like, this kid singing and playing the piano.
"And I’m like, ‘Who is this kid?’
"This kid should be heard, should be discovered.
“First and foremost, I was a fan.
"That’s how I tend to discover... when I like it and become a fan."
“THERE’S SO MUCH TALENT.”
“Developing new artists, I have to kinda push them and kinda share like the things I went through, the amount of work you have to do to be able to reach success.
"It’s not gonna come overnight.
“It’s hard but it’s just like second nature, I just love doing it.”
“There’s so much talent. All we need is opportunity.”
“Beyond the success, that’s what drives me; that’s what gives me joy; that’s what motivates me; that’s what gives me vision; that’s what rejuvenates me and also what keeps me grounded.”
BLACK EYED PEAS REUNION.
“Actually, we were planning on doing a 20th anniversary this year.
"But Fergie [Ferguson] wanted to do a solo album, so we’re gonna wait for her 'til next year, and then we’re gonna do an album together.
"By next year, we’re gonna be reunited,” paniniyak ni Apl.
Aniya, walang lilisan sa grupo na binubuo nina Apl, Fergie, Will.i.am, at Taboo.
Inaasahan ding magkakaroon ng Season 3 ang The Voice of the Philippines, kung saan isa sa mga coach si Apl, bago matapos ang 2015 o kaya early next year.
Aniya, “I just wanna keep doing it.
"I love it 'coz I get to discover amazing singers and almost a plaform for BMBXC, a search engine for me, so I get to help out and also discover.”
