Jennylyn Mercado denies rumored bad encounter with JM de Guzman: "Basta maayos kami."

Jennylyn Mercado keeps mum on the reason why JM de Guzman is no longer part of the 2015 MMFF entry Walang Forever.

Jennylyn Mercado denied that JM de Guzman was pulled out of the movie Walang Forever because she allegedly got scared of his uncalled behavior on the set of the said 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry.

"Hindi naman ako natakot. Hindi [ako nagulat sa kanya].

"Basta maayos kami.

"Ayoko nang i-explain pa kasi wala namang problema. Wala namang intriga," she reiterated. (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters were able to interview Jennylyn at the grand presscon of her movie with Sam Milby, The Prenup, held at 38 Valencia, Quezon City, last Tuesday night, September 29.

In a PEP report last September 22, it was stated that JM was replaced by Jericho Rosales as Jennylyn's leading man in Walang Forever for some undisclosed reasons.

There have been speculations, however, that JM has been showing bad behavior not only the set of Walang Forever, but also in the Kapamilya afternoon teleserye All of Me.

Asked about her reaction now that JM will no longer be part of Walang Forever, Jennylyn replied: “Siyempre nalulungkot ako dahil kahit papa'no kababata ko yun.

“Kahit papa'no nagsu-shoot na rin kami for a day.

“Pero I think wala naman ako sa position para magsalita kung ano ba ang nangyari, kasi kahit ako hindi ko rin alam.”

Apparently, the two have known each other way before they briefly teamed up for Walang Forever.

"Pareho kami kay Tita Becky Aguila [talent manager] dati nung mga bata pa kami."

According to Jennylyn, she and JM had a friendly chat on their first and only shooting day together.

“Napag-usapan lang namin... Botique pa rin yung tawag ko sa kanya. Yun yung nickname niya nung bata siya.

“'Naaalala mo... Uy, kumusta si Mommy Lydia [Jen's adoptive mother]?' Ganun lang.'”

On a different note, Jennylyn mentioned that she's looking forward to working with Jericho for the 2015 MMFF entry.

“Nag-shoot na kami ng teaser, masaya. Iba rin si Echo [Jericho's monicker].”

Despite the tougher competition between TV networks to date, the Kapuso actress feels glad that she still gets to work with Kapamilya stars, including Sam Milby for The Prenup.

“Ibang feeling din na nakakatrabaho mo yung hindi mo palaging nakikita.

"Minsan ako, napapanood ko lang sila, tapos makakatrabaho ko [unexpectedly]," she beamed.
