Kapamilya actress Ella Cruz has officially joined the roster of talents of Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
Ella was accompanied by her mom Jessica Cruz, together with VAA’s president and COO Veronique del Rosario-Corpus, in a contract signing held at Viva Entertainment headquarters, this Wednesday, October 7.
The 19-year-old actress has been with Star Magic for two years, before she decided to switch to VAA.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Ella clarified that she has informed Star Magic about her decision to transfer to VAA.
Although her three-year network contract with ABS-CBN has ended last March, Ella maintained that she still has an acting project lined up with the Kapamilya network this year.
“Sabi ng ABS-CBN, meron naman daw naka-line up for this quarter.
Now that she has signed up with VAA, Ella said that there have been talks of her doing a movie under Viva Films.
Dun ako sobrang nae-excite,” she beamed.
Given a chance to star in her own movie, who does she want to be her leading man?
Ella shyly answered, “Naku, mahirap ‘yan, ha! Sino ba puwede?
To date, Ella stars in TV5’s weekly series Parangnormal Activity and she also hosts her own dance segment “Isayaw mo ‘yan Ella” on ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda.
