Dennis Trillo is still contemplating if he will exercise his right to vote
in 2016.
“Registered pero parang ayaw kong bumoto,” the Kapuso actor told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters when asked about the 2016 elections on the set of My Faithful Husband last Wednesday, October 28.
Dennis said that he's not yet convinced with any of the candidates for the presidential post.
“Gusto ko yung maraming experience na leader, ayaw ko ng hilaw.”
Dennis hopes that other voters will be wise in choosing the next leader of our country.
“Siguro kailangan makita nila na magandang example yung pipipliin nilang pinuno dahil, siyempre, buong bansa ang pangangalagaan nila, ang responsibilidad nila.
“Dapat magsimula sa kanila yung isang magandang example, role model talaga sila na pamamarisan at tutularan ng mamamayang Pilipino.”
Dennis also hopes that the candidates in 2016 elections have the best intentions for the Philippines.
“Sana matuto na sila sa mga pulitiko, yung mga nakita nila sa mga nagdaang taon, sa mga nangyayari sa mga corrupt na tao,” he said.
Will Dennis endorse a politician if offered a huge talent fee?
Dennis shook his head and said, “Hindi importante sa akin ang malaking TF.
"Mas importante sa akin ang reputasyon ng isang tao.
“Kasi, kung malaki nga ang TF, masama naman ang reputasyon niya sa maraming tao, ang daming negative na ano, baka mahawa lang ako.
“Mas importante sa akin yung karespe-respeto yung taong nire-represent ko at iniendorso ko.”
