Wrong Miss Germany hit by Pinoys online over Miss Universe controversy

Miss Germany Olga Hoffman (left) clarifies that Miss Universe Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek (right), who gave a negative remark in the recently concluded Miss Universe 2015 pageant, is not in any way connected to Miss Germany Corporation.

Binanggit din niya sa interview sa kanya ng Missosology, “No one of us voted for Philippines. I'm so sorry to say it.”

Aniya, “We understand the disappointment of fans of Pia caused by the statement released by Miss Universe Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek.

“Being a great fan of Pia myself, I understand all of you completely.

“Let us all point out that we are not in any way connected to Miss Universe Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek or the organization she represents.

“The Miss Germany Corporation has the official right to crown Miss Germany.

“Our whole team feels sorry for the frustration this incident has brought to many people.”

“She deserves the title and we are proud of what she has accomplished—not only because Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is actually half German, but most importantly, she embodies the spirit of a true beauty queen,” sabi ni Hoffman.

Nakasaad sa naturang Facebook post: “Miss Universe-Germany Sarah-Lorraine feels sorry for her colleague and friend Miss Colombia. This must have been the worst nightmare.

“She never intended to offend Miss Philippines in any way. She feels sorry for both girls.

“She is really sorry if the video suggests anything else than that.”

Dagdag pa niya, “Sarah-Lorraine is very happy a half-German girl brings the crown of course a bit to Germany as well!"
