Pia Wurtzbach fondly recalls her controversial yet prophetic tweet that caused quite a stir on social media. But as it turned out, she was right all along. She did win the crown.

Sabi niya, “If there are any offers, opportunities to work abroad in the US, then why not? I’ll definitely try that out. And I might be the next Bond girl, who knows?

Natatawang sagot ni Pia, “Alam mo, isang araw, gumising ako, sinabi ko sa roommate ko na nakahiga sa bed, ‘You know what, I really have to do well in Miss Universe because I said so many things back home and I can’t take it back.”

“’I said I was gonna win. I can’t show my face there if I don’t.’

“And she’s laughing,” paglalarawan niya kay Miss Myanmar.

“She’s so used to it, she’s so cool.

“But that’s exactly how I wanted it to be, I wanted people to take it as a joke.

“Buti na lang I was actually able to do it. It would’ve actually been embarrassing if I didn’t.”
