Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Maine Mendoza received a special treat this Valentine's Day from an international bestselling author.
Sydney-based writer and illustrator Lang Leav dedicated a poem to Maine and her loveteam partner Alden Richards, which Leav posted on her Twitter and Facebook accounts on February 14.
For those who are not familiar, Lang Leav is the writer of the bestselling poetry compilations titled Love & Misadventures, Lullabies, and Memories.
It all started when a fan made a request for Lang Leav to write a poem about AlDub last Friday, February 12. The author replied that she might do a piece if Maine also requests for one.

Maine saw Lang Leav's Twitter tag and also requested for the writer to write a poem for AlDub.

With Maine's reply, Lang Leav started working on her poem and illustration. The Thai-Australian writer-illustrator titled her AlDub poem “Stars In Love.”

After posting the poem on her official social media accounts, Lang Leav left a comment in her official Facebook account saying that she enjoyed writing this poem and making an illustration of Maine.

Maine also thanked the author on Instagram.
