Kris Aquino on the late Wenn Deramas: "A box-office genius, a caring mentor"

Kris Aquino took to Instagram to express her grief over the passing of director Wenn Deramas, whom she described as a “box-office genius” and a “caring mentor.”

The box-office director died due to cardiac arrest early this morning, February 29.

In her post, Kris shared a photo of Direk Wenn together with her son Bimby taken during the premiere night of Feng Shui 2 in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Direk Wenn directed Praybeyt Benjamin 2 topbilled by Vice Ganda that same year.

Kris wrote in the caption: “He made being a creative, ratings & box office genius in both television & film seem effortless & easy.

“Mapagmahal na ama, magaan at masayang katrabaho, a generous & caring mentor, a true inspiration...
