Rocco Nacino wants to keep things private with Lovi Poe

Rocco Nacino on relationship status with Lovi Poe: "Whatever is going on between us, we choose to keep it private."

Rocco Nacino may be elusive about the status of his relationship with Lovi Poe, but he admitted that they remain on good terms.

The two have been spotted together several times since their rumored breakup last year.

The Kapuso actor said, “We’re okay. We still talk of course.

“But like what we always say, whatever is going on between us, we choose to keep it private.

“But so far, things have been good. And yun.” (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Rocco after his 29th birthday celebration at the Department of Social Welfare (DSWD) Sanctuary Center in Mandaluyong, yesterday, March 31.

His actual birthday was last March 21.

Asked what made them decide to keep things low-key, Rocco evaded the question and maintained that he’d rather not discuss the state of his love life for now.

Rocco told PEP, “Lovi hasn’t talked about it.

“So, siguro parang I’d rather be mum about that muna.

“Ayaw ko muna pangunahan yung mga sabi-sabi.

“Yung mga ganyan, pinag-uusapan muna namin bago mag-disclose.

“But I think things are better that things are private. It’s working well.”

The two used to be very open about their feelings for each other, until they suddenly stopped sharing couple photos on social media sometime in October 2015.

Then this was followed by news of their rumored breakup in November.

Two weeks ago, the two went out for a night cap at the same resto-bar in Makati City; but they refrained from sharing photos where they can be seen together.

But one thing’s for sure, Rocco admitted that “doors were never closed” between him and Lovi.

He added, “Ayaw namin pangunahan kung anong nangyayari.”

MARRIAGE TALKS. When asked if he has fear of commitment, Rocco replied, “Hindi, basta ma-balance mo lang. Yun lang yun, e.”

PEP asked again, is he ready to settle down at 29?

Rocco answered, “I can’t say, e [if I’m ready to settle down].

“I’m doing so much. I’m doing two movies.

“I have businesses. I am loaded for this year.

“So, parang it hasn’t crossed my mind.

“I just wanna see how I go along with things.

“Pero time will come. When I’m ready, I’m ready.”
