Julia Barretto slowly patching things up with dad Dennis Padilla

Julia Barretto on dad Dennis Padilla: "I'm just really glad that we're starting to patch things up. Little by little, nagiging okay na ang lahat. As a daughter, it makes me happy because, at the end of the day, he's still my dad."

“I’m just really glad that we’re starting to patch things up. Little by little, nagiging okay na ang lahat.

“As a daughter, it makes me happy because, at the end of the day, he’s still my dad.

“Kahit na ano ang mangyari, he’s still my dad.

“No matter what, gusto ko sa huli, okay kami. Walang hard feelings.”

“I know that he goes to that gym and I go to that gym. Pero iba ang schedules namin, e, never kaming nagkakatagpo.

“Nagulat ako, ‘Papa!’ It just happened.”

Paglilinaw ni Julia, “But we’ve been talking even before that meeting.

“It wasn’t like we patched things up there. We patched things up even before that.”

May naiisip na ba siyang regalo sa kanyang ama sa parating na Father’s Day sa June?

Ayon kay Julia, “What my daddy wants siguro at this point, all he wants is for everybody to be okay more than any material thing.

“I’m glad that this year is doing so well so far.”

Sagot ni Julia, “My mom naman is happy wherever I’m happy. My siblings are happy.

“That’s why I appreciate my mom so much kasi pinababayaan niya kami kung saan kami okay. Guidance lang.”

To the woman I draw all my strength from, today and everyday is your day. You are loved... Happy Mother's Day.
