Remember when Kris Aquino said this on her Instagram account: “Binigay ko na ang lahat for VP Leni”?
She was so serious about helping then vice-presidential candidate Leni Robredo that she lent not only her popularity as a TV host-actress-endorser during the campaign, but she was also all-out in giving the outgoing Camarines Sur representative a huge financial support.
Based on the Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) of incoming Vice President Robredo, the youngest sister of outgoing President Benigno “PNoy” Aquino III was the top contributor to her campaign last elections.
According to GMA News, Kris contributed a total of P30.8 million. She contributed four times to the campaign, three of which amount to P10 million each.
Meanwhile, Kris's sister Viel Aquino-Dee contributed P1 million to Robredo's campaign.
Vice President-elect Robredo is listed as the top spender in the vice-presidential race with P418.6 million, which was entirely funded by contributors.
She declared zero personal spending in her campaign.
