Jim Paredes, Leah Navarro slam Duterte over separate inauguration with Robredo

Nag-react ang ilang kilalang personalidad na pro-Liberal Party, kagaya ng veteran singers na sina Jim Paredes at Leah Navarro, sa balitang nagdesisyon ang kampo ni President-elect Rodrigo Duterte na hiwalay ang gagawin nilang inauguration kay Vice President-elect Leni Robredo sa darating na June 30.

Galing mismo sa head ng transition team ni Leni na si Boyet Dy ang pahayag.

“We were informed by the team of President-elect Rody Duterte about their preference to hold the inauguration separately.

"While we have been preparing for a joint inauguration, we respect their decision and will begin our own preparations for a simple and modest ceremony,” sabi Dy sa official statement ngayong Miyerkules, June 15.

LENI’S SUPPORTERS REACT. Hindi naman pinalampas ng ilang kilalang tagasuporta ng kampo ni Leni ang balitang ito.

Sabi ni Jim Paredes: “Why? Afraid Leni will shine more? BBM will have an emotional breakdown? Ano? Is he President of ALL or only his friends?”

Sumunod pang tweet ng dating miyembro ng APO Hiking Society: “Be an ADULT President. Respect OUR VP. BBM WILL NEVER BE VP even even if you want it!”

Matapang din ang mga naging tweet ng veteran singer na si Leah Navarro sa nasabing balita.

Aniya pa, wala kasing “something in common” sina Duterte at Leni.

“Duterte doesn't wanna hurt BBM's feelings,” bahagi pa ng tweet ni Leah.

Matatandaang sinabi ni Duterte sa isang panayam na hindi niya bibigyan ng posisyon sa kanyang gabinete si Leni dahil ayaw niyang masaktan ang damdamin ni Sen. Bongbong Marcos.

Si Bongbong ay kaibigan ni Duterte at naging mahigpit na katunggali ni Leni sa vice-presidential race nitong nakaraang eleksyon.
