Alden Richards and his dad Richard Faulkerson Sr. have been ribbing each other hours before their Trumpets Challenge dance showdown.
It will be an advance Father's Day's bonding experience between the Pambansang Bae and Daddy Babe on Eat Bulaga! This Saturday, June 17.
Alden said, smiling, “He'll be performing with me sa Eat Bulaga! We're gonna do the Trumpets Challenge, father-and-son edition.
“Gusto niya yun, e!
“Yun, first time ko siyang makikitang sumayaw. So good luck.”
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Alden in a chance interview, Friday night, June 16.
DANCE SHOWDOWN. Alden further shared that he didn't get the chance to share his dance moves with Daddy Bae at home.
But the Pambansang Bae is confident that his dad will give him a run for his money on the dance floor.
“[Kahapon] lang po naging official that he's gonna be dancing with me.
“Kaya naman niya yun for sure,” he said.
Daddy Bae, for his part, had been ribbing Alden as soon as the former learned about their dance showdown.

DADDY BAE'S PARENTING STYLE. Meanwhile, Alden said that he already has a surprise Father's Day treat for Daddy Bae tomorrow.
Alden told PEP, “Yes, actually [may plan na ako for Father's Day], pero surprise.”
Asked about his fondest memories of his dad, Alden shared that he will be forever grateful to his dad for teaching him a sense of discipline at an early age.
“Well kasi yung dad ko, he's very strict. I took it for granted when I was young.
“Why is this happening? Hindi naman kami mahal kasi sobrang higpit.
“Later on naintindihan ko na talaga na kids nowadays need to realize that parents are like that when they're young, kasi paglaki mo mapapakinabangan mo talaga, e.
“Attitude-wise, paano ka makitungo sa mga tao...
“That's one of my fondest memories with my dad. How he is as a dad, disciplinarian.”
