Sa nakaraang presscon ng 25th anniversary ng Maalaala Mo Kaya, nakumpirma na isang pelikula sa ilalim ng Cinema One Originals ang magiging comeback movie ng dating presidente at ngayon ay Chief Content Officer ng ABS-CBN na si Ms. Charo Santos-Concio.
Pagkatapos nito ay lumabas ang balita na ang aktor na si John Lloyd Cruz ang makakasama ng dating aktres sa kanyang pagbabalik-pelikula.
Sa launching ni Ma’am Charo bilang bagong brand ambassador ng Olay nung nakaraang Miyerkules sa Shangri-La BGC, ibinahagi ng dating ABS-CBN President ang saya at excitement sa pagharap niyang muli sa kamera at ang pasasalamat niya kay John Lloyd na makasama siya nito sa isang proyekto.
Sabi niya, “I feel very grateful that he accepted the project.
“He’s great, he’s very good, he’s focused on his craft.
“Details? Sa tamang panahon.
“Parang hindi pa ito ang tamang panahon. Pero isi-share din yan sa inyo, malalaman ninyo rin, but it was a great experience to work with John Lloyd.
“It’s like starting over again. Well, it’s great, I’m having fun, I’m rediscovering how it’s like to be facing the cameras again.
“It’s like having a great adventure.
“It feels good to be back, it feels good to be working with young people. I’m learning a lot from them,
“I’m bringing back the lessons that I picked up back from ABS-CBN.”
Agad naming tinanong si Ma’am Charo kung simula na ba ito ng muli niyang pagsabak uli sa pag-arte.
Pag-amin niya, “'Di ko alam, 'di ko iniisip.
“I take it one day at a time. You know when that offer came, Lav Diaz asked me if I would be interested.
“He sent me the script, I fell in love with the character, so I said yes.”
ENDORSEMENT. Si Ms. Charo ngayon ang bagong brand ambassador ng Olay Regenerist.
Ito ang kauna-unahang beauty product na kanyang inendorso pagkatapos ng retirement niya bilang ABS-CBN President.
Ito na rin kaya ang simula ng pagtanggap niya ng mga product endorsements?
“Naku, hindi ko alam, hindi ko nga iniisip.
“Whatever comes my way, if I feel good about it, then yeah, I’m open.”
“Masayang-masaya, I never imagined that at 60 I’ll be endorsing a beauty product.
“I hope I’m able to inspires a lot of women to pursue their dreams, continue enjoying life, continue facing their fears and live their dreams,” dagdag niya.

“Ay naku, tapos na ako diyan.
“Last year, once a month, there was a chef who came to the house and taught me few dishes.
“I know how to cook I know the basics of cooking but it’s not really my gift.
“I think I’m happy pursuing my other interests,” patuloy niya.
CONTENTMENT. Proud to be 60, ayon kay Ma’am Charo ay ipinagmamalaki niya na sa edad niyang ito ay natagpuam niya ang tunay na kahulugan ng pagiging kuntento at masaya sa buhay.
“Hindi nagtatapos ang buhay when you reach 60.
“In fact, age and beauty are not really opposite. They’re friends, they are good friends.
“With age comes a lot of wisdom. With age comes achievements, success, a lot of lessons to learn, inner peace, a calm mind, serenity. All of these equals beauty.”
“I’m so grateful, I really hope I continue to serve as a role model to a lot of women.
“Wag silang mawawalan ng pag-asa. Be the best of what they can in whatever role they are portraying.”

POSITIVE OUTLOOK. Nagbigay rin ng payo si Ma’am Charo kung paano ba dapat dalhin ang mga problemang dumarating sa buhay natin.
Lahad niya, “Alam mo ang problema dumarating ‘yan, 'di nawawala ang problema sa buhay.
“Yung lenteng pantingin mo sa problema is the one that makes the difference.”
