Isabelle Daza is mourning the loss of her father, Bong Daza.
The Kapamilya actress announced the sad news earlier today, July 14, through her Instagram account.
Isabelle posted a throwback photo of her and her late father, reminiscing a sweet moment they had when she was still a kid.
On the caption, she wrote: “That time you made all the waitresses in Saisaki sing 'happy birthday' for me cause I hurt my head..! Love you Pop. Hug Lola Nora for me up in Heaven.”
The Tubig at Langis star did not disclose any detail about her father's passing.
However, in Ricky Lo's column “Funfare,” which was published on July 5, he related that Isabelle's dad was in the ICU of Makati Medical Center “fighting for his life” after he was found unresponsive in the early morning of July 4.
Ricky also said that he learned from Isabelle's mom, Gloria Diaz, that Bong was hypertensive but, “he has stopped his medication more than a year ago.”
Aside from Gloria and Isabelle, Bong is also survived by his other children Ava and Rafael, and his brother chef Sandy Daza.
It is unfortunate that he passed away before Isabelle ties the knot with her fiance, Adrien Semblat.
