ABS-CBN, GMA-7 executives included in Forbes Philippines' 50 Richest

ABS-CBN and GMA-7 executives are among list of Philippines' 50 Richest.

ABS-CBN's Oscar Lopez and GMA-7 triumvirate Gilberto Duavito, Menardo Jimenez, and Felipe Gozon are among Philippines' 50 Richest list of Forbes.

Executives from giant TV networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7 are among the Philippines' 50 Richest list of Forbes.

Oscar Lopez, the chairman emeritus of Lopez Holdings Corporation, is on the 23rd spot.

His $940 million net worth is $60 million lower from his 2015 net worth of $1 billion.

The 86-year-old Lopez is the uncle of Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III, ABS-CBN's current chairman.

GMA Network owners Gilberto Duavit, Menardo Jimenez, and Felipe Gozon are 42nd, 43rd, and 47th, respectively.

Duavit, the father of current president and COO Gilbert Duavit Jr., is $5 million richer than 84-year-old Jimenez, who has $180 million net worth.


Meanwhile, the youngest among the GMA's triumvirate, 76-year-old Gozon has $160 million net worth.
