Negatibo ang resulta ng mga drug test kina Anne Curtis at James Reid.
Ito ang patunay na walang katotohanan ang mga blind item na kumakalat at nag-uugnay sa kanila sa isyu ng mga artistang gumagamit diumano ng mga ipinagbabawal na gamot.
Inilabas ng Viva Artists Agency (VAA) ang kopya ng resulta ng mga drug test sa kanilang mga contract star at ang official statement tungkol sa isyu:
“Unconfirmed reports have surfaced recently linking Viva Artists Agency, Inc. (‘VAA’) artists, Anne Curtis and James Reid, to the illegal use of drugs.
“These reports were broadcast on AM radio and published in several tabloids with only an unnamed ‘pusher’ as a source and with no further evidence to support the claim.
“In order to address these unfounded rumors, VAA is releasing the results of the drug test that was undertaken by Ms. Curtis and by Mr. Reid last September 3, 2016 at a medical laboratory licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) and accredited with the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).
“As is evident from the attached Drug Test Reports, both Ms. Curtis and Mr. Reid have tested ‘negative’ for Methamphetamine and Tetrahydrocannabinol.
“VAA, Ms. Curtis and Mr. Reid, are aware of and give importance to the influence of artists in society as role models to the youth.
“Thus, VAA and its artists have taken the initiative to publicize the results to inform the public of the truth and to show support for the government’s campaign against illegal use of drugs.”
