It has been reported that Angelina Jolie, 41, has filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt, 52, after two years of marriage.
This was confirmed by multiple sources to CNN and People.
According to TMZ, Angelina filed legal documents on Monday, September 19 (US time), citing irreconcilable differences.
In a report by The Post's Page Six, Brad is said to be cheating on Angelina with French actress Marion Cotillard, 40.
Brad and Marion are co-stars in the upcoming World War II drama Allied.
It was also reported that Angelina asked for physical custody of their six children and Brad be given visitation rights.
Brad and Angelina have three children of their own: Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
The couple also have three adopted children: Maddox, Zahara, and Pax.
According to EW.com, Brad and Angelina were last spotted together in mid July, just ahead of their second wedding anniversary.
This sad news will surely come as a big shock to many of their fans since Brad and Angelina's relationship is one the most admired in Hollywood.
The two got married in France in 2014, but their romance was rumored to have started way back in 2003 while shooting the film Mr. And Mrs. Smith.
Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005, while Angelina wed Johnny Lee Miller in 1996 but they divorced in 1999.
Angelina underwent a double mastectomy in 2013.
