Mariel Rodriguez is now in the U.S., where she will be giving birth to her daughter this coming November.
She flew yesterday, September 23, but her husband Robin Padilla, who doesn't have a U.S. visa, couldn't join the It's Showtime host.
Before leaving for her flight, the husband and wife had one more date at Atelier Vivanda in Bonifacio Global City.
Mariel wrote on Instagram, "Thank you for insisting we go on a date one more time... before we see each other again."
In another post showing a solo photo of Robin, her caption read: "Thank you for everything! We miss you already."
At the airport, Robin watched as Mariel was wheeled into the boarding area.
The actor took the time to thank the staff members who assisted his wife, "Maraming salamat sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Cathay Pacific NAIA 3 sa pag-aasikaso sa aking asawa. Mula sa mga porter hanggang sa mga ground staff at sa kanilang manager lalo sa iyo Ms. LaLa, mabuhay po kayo."
He also left a prayer for Mariel, "By Huda, Islam Expert. When leaving for a trip, whether by airplane, car, boat, or other transportation, Muslims say a prayer (du'a) to honor Allah and ask Allah to protect them on the journey."
For Mariel's part, she left Robin this short but sweet message, "All for our baby girl. one day or everyday I will tell Isabella how much her Dad loves her. thank you for loving us!!!"
