Regine Tolentino and her husband Lander Vera Perez are estranged, and she admits there were occasions when she was dancing and crying at the same time.

Pahayag ni Regine sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “Yeah, something like that. So, soon.”

I guess you have to ask him.

“It’s over, erase na lahat yun.

“For me, it’s a new chapter na ‘to sa buhay ko, hindi na siya kasama dun.

“With the kids, I give them the option and, as a matter of fact, I always encourage them.

“You know, you should communicate and do what you need to do or feel what is right.”

DANCING AS THERAPY.

Pagsang-ayon niya, “Tama, good girl, legal muna.

“Zumba-zumba kapag may time and, siyempre, I’m also busy managing Regine’s Boutique.

“I always stay positive and that’s what helps me to get through everything.

“I have my mindset where I wanna go sa buhay, sa career, sa family.

“And that’s what keeps me healthy and strong and inspired sa trabaho ko.

“It’s dancing and that’s my passion, that’s what keep my heart alive and pumping.

“I’m just very fortunate na naise-share ko yun sa mga tao and I get the energy sa kanila.

“Kapag sila ang nakikisayaw sa akin, masaya sila, parang it’s an exchange of energy.

“It really makes me so fulfilled when I’m able to do that.

“I’m so happy, yes I am, life can’t get any better than right now, I must say.”

“Huh! It’s getting hot here!” natawang biro niya.

“And when I’m dancing, I feel like I’m a different person.

Tugon ni Regine, “I think, mas lalo silang tumibay, mas naging matibay sila.

“But I can’t control their feelings, basta nandito lang ako, suportahan sila.

“And, I think, it works out, they’re happy… doing great.

“Si Reign, she’s first year in Ateneo, on top of their class and I’m super proud of her.

“Mas lalo silang nag-excel, mas lalo silang naging confident and independent.

“My other daughter, she’s doing great in school, very active.

“God-fearing and simple, sweet girl.

“I’m very proud that I have them, we stick together and we have so much fun.

“We laugh a lot, dress up, and dance.”

Kuwento ni Regine, “She teaches with me sa summer workshops namin sa studio.

“And we dance together, we travel together.

“It’s our bonding activity and fitness as well.

“Si Reigen naman, she’s too young to be licensed.

“But we dance together and we also go to the gym together.”

“I’m just waiting for the right time na maasikaso ko yung part na yun sa buhay ko.

“My schedule is so crazy that I don’t have time to do any extra-curricular activities, except for my children.

“I’m just happy to say that I’m loving what I do.

“I have just enough time to spend with my daughters, let’s take it from there.”
