“If they made it an issue, I'm fine with that.”
Nadine Lustre finally broke her silence over the negative feedback about the viral video where she was allegedly seen ignoring a fan's request for a photo op.
“I'm not affected by it. Because even the person, the girl in the video, was not affected by it,” said Nadine.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and Cinema News were able to interview Nadine during the press launch of Moto smartphone, held in City of Dreams Manila, on Thursday, October 20.
The Kapamilya actress explained that she acknowledged the presence of her female fan, but didn't have the chance to accommodate a photo op.
“Because I really did smile at her. But it was so hot. So I was squinting like that. So I can't really see it...”
It can be recalled that the female fan defended Nadine immediately after the video went viral on Twitter last week.
The fan, whose Twitter handle name is @mchljllcbl, admitted that it was actually prohibited to take pictures on the set; but she took a chance when she saw her idol pass by her.
hala grabe sumabog notifs ko. Hahaha bawal po talaga magpapicture nun kasi shooting po yun ng This Time pero syempre nasa harap ko na sila— (@mchljllcbls) October 11, 2016
Kaya nigrab ko na yung opportunity. Wag nyong ihate si Nadine— (@mchljllcbls) October 11, 2016
While Nadine has no complaints about her workload, she said having a crazy schedule sometimes affects her energy level.
At the latter part of the interview, Nadine told PEP: “I just hope that people would understand because we're working every day.
“We don't get enough sleep. We're always tired.
“So minsan talaga, parang, it's normal na may male-late, pagod, we're not always cheerful.
“So, we just hope that people would understand na we're not always high energy.”
